Appeals
Appeals in the field of criminal law can relate to trial issues, applications (including bail), convictions and/or sentences, ESOs and Parole. Where a judge, jury or other authority makes the wrong decision, the only way to correct these errors is through appeal.
In New Zealand, appellate courts include the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. Marek has worked on numerous appeal matters and achieved success in overturning the decisions of lower courts.
